  · We visited Grasonville, MD for a 30th birthday trip and spent our Saturday with Baron Charters and had a FABULOUS time! Captain G and his first mate, Chris, were so fun and accommodating. We had a delicious lunch at Harbor Shack in Rock Hall, MD at the recommendation of Captain G and Chris. The whole day was an absolute BLAST and we recommend Baron Charters for everyone!! Don’t miss out on this great time!!

· We had the best time with Chris and Captain G on the beautiful Red Baron! This boat is such a classic and completely refit with such care (and hard work!) by this couple! They are skilled and professional- know these waters and care about our comfort and safety on the boat and on the bay and even during Covid times!  They also ensured we got the best photos of ourselves and the sunset on our sunset cruise- taking many of the best for us!! We absolutely recommend booking a tour and will return for sure! Thank you both so much!!!

Additional Information

Red Baron is a 1983 Chesapeake Bay Dead Rise, she is 40' and has a 12'6" beam, built by Richard Roe in St. Michaels, MD. She is powered by a 450 Cummins Turbo Diesel, has a 16,000 BTU AC, JCR Radar system, Lowrance GPS Chart plotter, with inside and outside helms.

When Captain G purchased her he completely restored her to the beauty she is today. He had a custom teak table made to cover the motor box for food and drinks with inside storage. The pontoon couch seats work perfectly for seating of four comfortably. He enclosed the cab to have the comfort of a 16,000 BTU AC system on the hot days on the Chesapeake. All custom seating, table and raised floor under the table. There has been a door added for privacy in the working head area. Plenty of room on the deck for people to dance and enjoy themselves while listening to the Bluetooth stereo system with outdoor speakers and decorative LED lighting under the running boards that can stay solid color or turn into disco lights to flash with the music.

Red Baron is a 6 pack vessel, which means she can ONLY CARRY 6 PAYING CLIENTS.  She has all USCG required safety equipment onboard including throw ring, type 1 PFD, AED, first aid kit, flares.

A cooler with ice is provided with free waters and room for you to store your personal beverages. Clients are welcome to bring food and alcoholic beverages onboard. Pets are welcome.
